How to Book Appointments

The University of Manchester Occupational Health Service provides confidential services to protect the health of staff and students at work, in training and in study and assesses and advises on fitness for work, training and study to ensure that health issues are effectively managed.

The Occupational Health Service provides appointments to students with issues relating to their study. We would encourage that you book an appointment with us via telephone or by visiting of one our sites and speaking to a receptionist.

If you have been referred by a member of staff then you will be contacted by the Occupational Health Service with regards to an appointment.

Clients are seen on an appointment only basis, we cannot provide primary care, minor injury or accident and emergency service.

Missed Appointments

A huge number of appointments are wasted each year simply because they are missed. We always experience a high demand for appointments and when a client does not attend this is a wasted opportunity for another client to have seen us.

You can help by making sure that you either keep, rearrange or cancel your appointment - the earlier that you cancel the better. If you have no other choice but to cancel your appointment please let us know as soon as possible.
